it could be a way for them to make up to the US for not giveing everything that the US got in CE of factions, but i could be wrong. But i will try and get it when comes out, so when will it be on shelfs?

I imagine if everyone from outside The States were to bitch at PC Gamer instead of us here in the forums, something might be done. Sheesh! It's months away people, give it a break. There could be more announcements in the future.

BTW, If allowed, I'll sell one of mine to you for a crapload of money!

it's been confirmed that they will not be customized. It's also been quoted from the devs that no minipet has been customized and it's unlikely any ever will be.

Does anyone know if they sell the US issues in Canada? I've known magazines to do that in the past, so I'm curious about this one.

Neither is the Heroes Ascent American Districts full of (W/Mo lfg mission only) while we americans, australians or canadians wonder why we never have favor during the day.

There will be mini-pets offered in European magazines as well. I'll let you all know the details as soon as I have them available.

Yeah, I saw that, too, and my jaw hit the keyboard. I'm stunned. That's so lame, I don't know what to say. How can ANet ban people for selling GW gold for real life money when they do (essentially) the same? Buy a magazine (for real life money), get the pet, sell it for ingame money. In this auction the Grey Giant is sold for 100k+. On Ebay 100k GW gold is about 5$. Nuff said.

yeah it's stupid. Mainly because anyone can go to a store and just copy down the codes then the people who buy the mag and try to use it will be ticked off.. i can see that happening to me ><

Sorry, that's no explanation, let alone excuse. Technically ANet could easily handle it the same way they handle pre-order items or other promotional items: Once you've entered the key you may summon the item for any character of your account by entering a special slash command, for example "/cokeplay" for the (in)famous Coca Cola items.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with you getting a free minipet for being such a loyal subscriber. But it is very wrong that you may sell it ingame for a small fortune.
